What Fingene is, and is not
Fingene is an educational and self-awareness product. It is not an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker, portfolio manager, bank, lender or insurer, and is not registered with SEBI, the RBI or IRDAI in any such capacity. Nothing in Fingene, including your Gene, Behavior Score, insights, forecasts or anything Fino says, is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any product, a prediction of returns or a promise of any outcome. Decisions about your money are yours. For advice on specific investments, speak to a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
The terms
- Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract in India. One account per person. You are responsible for your login.
- Your content. Your answers, check-ins, reflections and messages remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to run Fingene and produce your insights, and to create anonymised statistics that cannot identify you.
- Availability. We aim to keep Fingene running but do not promise uninterrupted service. If we withdraw a feature you are paying for, you may cancel and get a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
- Our liability. To the extent the law allows, Fingene is provided “as is”. We are not liable for investment losses or decisions you take after using Fingene. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything the law does not allow us to limit.
- Ending things. You can stop and delete your account any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these Terms, with notice where practical. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of your subscription.
- Law. Indian law governs these Terms, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to sue where you live.
